Good morning ,

Nährstoffträger (nutrient carriers) contain Nährstoffe (nutrients). Nutrient

carriers may be e.g. animals or milk but it seems that this word is also

used in the sense of excipients (e.g. of tablets). It depends on how your

product looks like.

Hope this helps.

Best regards

Charlotte

I am trying to work out how this differs, especially in my context, from

just Nährstoff.

Das Wert beider Ernährungspräparate fuer die Ernährung ist gleich, was auf

Grund der ähnlichen Zusammensetzung, besonders der Nährstoffträger,

vermutet werden durfte.

These products are made up of various proteins, carbohydrates, fats,

minerals, fibre, vitamins. These are the Nährstoffe. What are the

'carriers'?

Thanks,

Thanks, Charlotte. The product is a preparation for tube feeding. I think

'nutrient carrier(s)' will work in my context.
