Guest guest
Dear Group and Family, Sorry I have been out-of-touched for quite a while (seems like forever!). First I had computer problems and still cannot get my lap top to work for the internet - a router thing that my son set up for me. (he lives 4 hours away). BUT my desktop does NOW ( 325 messages later). My husband got sick on the 23 or April - they thought it was Gallbladder, so he went thru the Ultra Sound and then a CT Scan. He currently has a severe case of Gasritis - BUT the CT Scan showed a tumor on his right Kidney. It is approximately 2 inches long, and the Dr. says it is " worrisome for malignancy " . We have an HMO insurance, and although you thing that referral for something like this would be a snap - it took 3 days - that was because I called them. Then they only have 1 Dr. that does this type of surgery, and he is out of town until next Tuesday - We have his first appointment on that day (his office staff seem really nice and understanding). My daughter - who lives here - is having a custody battle with her Ex husband for their 4 year old son. ( The " Dad " left when the child was born and showed up when he was 3??)My husband and I have been his other parent and security for that time. The state of California seems to believe that each parent needs custody on alternate weeks at a time. This is very upsetting to all of us, and my daughter is totally paralyzed by this - my husband told her that she needed to get an attorney - and she exploded at him - so now we are the bad guys and she is not there. Sorry for the pity party - this is just why I am not there - all of you are in my personal prayers, please put my husband and family in yours. Gentle Hugs & Prayers, Carol M. in CA
