Guest guest
Thank you for your email, The topic “High risk profession” was one-off opportunity to expose a member who posted several times with slight variations of her name and it is so subtle you certainly have not noticed it I know well the name of the Moderator, and I have no complain at all against her I was just asking her to move into action vis-à-vis of the trickiest person in the translation field, and I did not want that any member of this list becomes a victim of her tricks as sometimes she is done posting about jobs. Just read again her posting and you will have a bit of understanding of what is going on with her. So briefly you have “high risk translator(s)” which have no place on this list of ‘honest’ translators With all my appreciation to for running this list Kindest regards at all Christian Merlot NAATI-Accredited & Certified Professional Translator (EN < > FR) : Number 18282 National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Intepreters: www.naati.com.au ProZ.com Certified PRO NETWORK <http://www.proz.com/profile/5402> http://www.proz.com/profile/5402 Masters of Economics & Management and Masters of Econometry (University of Lyon II) Post-graduate degree (DESS) of Forecasting Economy (University of Lyon II) Distinction in French Advanced (Institute of Languages- Uni of NSW) 164 lin Street, Matraville NSW 2036 Sydney Australia ' +61.2.9311 3339 6 +61.2.9311 3339 ) 0418 613 563 URGENT WORK (24/7) Skype: christian_M_TM6 - MSN & YAHOO Messengers Signature & Initials authentificated by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (Australian Government) Payments: PayPal - AMEX credit card - Net banking- Direct transfer - Money Order -Western Union- Money Gram http://www.rustek.se/Rwebb2/images/email.gif: cmerlot@... As I am a very unpretentious girl, you are allowed to call me :-) has an address for complaints, which appears at the bottom of each M_T message. Please use it when you have remarks or comments to make about the list management; I'll do my best to meet your requests. c) does not appreciate too much to be shouted at this way, what, furthermore, is not productive as I may not see it, what did happen in this case. d) is not a detective inspector conducting a police investigation on each member. The moderator is not qualified for that (fortunately) and, moreover, she has no time for it, as it may happen that she also works. e) has already a lot of work in managing " bouncing members " (approx 100/week), spams, vicious messages (strangely, for a lot of people " medical = sex " ), questions from desperate patients, etc. If I were to follow your reasoning, I should reject any subscription from a person who is unlucky enough to have the same name or a very similar name than another or other member(s). It means that if we already have one " " among our members, then I must reject all further applications from all " s s " existing in the world. Of course, it also means that if we already have one member named Guilliaumet, I must systematically reject applications from : Guillaumet Guilliaume Guillaume Guillamet, etc, etc. I know that everybody is unique, but not at this price. Last, let me add that Yahoo may have - I should say " really has " - problems from time to time and that it happens that even messages from individuals submitted to moderation (e.g. newcomers) reach the list straightly, escaping to any control. Thank you for your understanding. Have a nice day Guilliaumet (no homonym, no fake name :-D ) - moderator Le 21/02/2012 12:29, Margaret Hutchings a écrit : > Thanks , obviously I totally misunderstood Christian's question! > Time for a coffee....! > Margaret > > Le 21/02/2012 12:14, kinory@... <mailto:kinory%40appleinter.net> a écrit : >> Nobody has ever said that she does: the reference was to Augustin. >> >> >> > Le 17/02/2012 22:20, Christian Merlot a écrit : >> >> Also for the moderator why she is able to post under a different name? > > ------------------------------------ > > URL: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/medical_translation > > In case of any problem with this list, you can reach the moderator at cgtradmed@... <mailto:cgtradmed%40free.fr> . > The FAQs of our list are available at : http://groups.yahoo.com/group/medical_translation/files/M_T-FAQS.doc > > To unsubscribe, please send an *empty* message to > medical_translation-UNSUBSCRIBE@... <mailto:medical_translation-UNSUBSCRIBE%40yahoogroups.comYahoo> !
