Guest guest
I just got a phone call from OU Clinic, can you believe? A nurse asked me " how I was doing " , I told her I feel bad. She then asked, " Why " ? Duh, if she would look at my charts. The blood work was just the normal blood tests. My Cholesterol is up a little, so she told me to exercise, and lose some weight, eat healthier. All the other tests were normal, so OK! She told me someone would contact me on the mammogram appointment, but not sure when. She was a CRAB! So, I still don't feel any better. I better get my exercise program started, lol Thanks everyone for all your support, that is what keeps me going, Tawny
Guest guest
Okay so here is my question....does the dumb broad know what is wrong with you and that going out and getting exercise might not be that easy? I hate when dumb people call, especially when they are crabby. Thats when you want to reach thru the phone and choke them. That would be a great stress reliever though!!! So, on a lighter note, at least the blood results came back normal, beside the cholesterol thing. I just my blood work up done, they took tones of blood, like i was donating; and the sucky part is that I didn't get paid for it nor was it free . So, on this dreary day in Illinois with cold weather and rain, I am going to take this time and study before class. Try to keep your spirits up and keep moving forward, or in your case exercising LOL !! Peace, Jillian Tawny <tawnyokc@...> wrote: I just got a phone call from OU Clinic, can you believe? Guest guest
Jillian, I don't think she had a clue. I told her that I had RA, and having a terrible time just to walk right now. I don't even have a normal life I told her that I try to watch what I eat, and I'm on Prednisone so that don't help the weight issue. I have been wanting to try robotic exercises, but I can't until I can walk, without swelling and pain. I know what you mean about all that blood, we don't even get a sticker, lol Let me know what your results are, I will keep you in my prayers. It's also rainy here, and cool outside. A nice day to take a nap. You take care, talk to you soon, Tawny > I just got a phone call from OU Clinic, can you believe? A nurse > asked me " how I was doing " , I told her I feel bad. Guest guest
Tawny, I can't believe that you have to wait so long just to get an appointment for a mammo. I tell you, I would be banging on some doors real fast. Something like that needs prompt attention. When I had a scare in March, I found a lump on my chest where I had had a mastectomy the year before and I called my doctor and I was in his office that afternoon for a mammo and unltrasound. Turned out to be a water cyst. BUt I was scared and he wanted me not to be under any stress. I wish I could send him to you. He is a very concerned and smart dr. Keep your chin up, We are all here for you. Hugs Judith Ann Tawny <tawnyokc@...> wrote: Jillian, I don't think she had a clue. Guest guest
Hi Kathy, I get so tired of people sometimes, they are just so ignorant. We have to deal with this pain, and then put up with that. I sometimes wonder about the people that think that were just faking, or trying to get attention. How long they could deal with good old RA? I sometimes wish we could jump through the phone line, lol I sure felt like that today, oohhh!!! My family, doesn't really understand what I go through, and that is hard for me. No one in the family has even asked about my lab work, they never will, unless I bring it up. I have decided I'm not going to say anything this time, I think their tired of hearing about me. I will just deal with it, I have all my friends here to help me through all my aches and pains. I hope you start feeling better soon. The weather is cold and yucky this way, so not good for the bones. Take care Tawny > " oh i ache everywhere too!! Guest guest
Judith Ann, The mammogram is going to be somewhere else, and it's free to women over 40, I qualify! I guess they just take their sweet time about it. I don't even know the name of the place, that is going to give the mammogram they are so secret at the OU Clinic. I feel like I'm in prison when I go there, that is not a good sign. I am glad that your mammogram was alright, and it was just a water cyst, what a relief. Thanks so much, Tawny > > I just got a phone call from OU Clinic, can you believe? A nurse > > asked me " how I was doing " , I told her I feel bad. She then > > asked, " Why " ?
