Guest guest
Dear listmates, Yesterday, I accidentally found a very funny translation EN>FR, published on Linguee. I hope that it was the result of machine translation, not of human translation. The EN sentence was the following : " In babies,an inflamed*, *shinydiaperrash. " The suggested FR translation was : " Dans les bébés, une éruptiondecouche-culotteenflammée et brillante. " Here, the literal back-translation in EN : " Inside the babies, a blast of inflamed and shiny diaper " Maybe, they were describing the early years of the Etna or Stromboli childhood, who knows ? Weren't they cute, those volcano babies ? Have a great evening,
