Independent, self-employed translators don't have 'CVs'. We are not in the

business of applying for inhouse positions as employees: we are

consultants providing services. We may (and should) have infrormation

sheets detailing those services (languages, fields), perhaps with a

general indication of educational background, a list of

clients/publications/etc and the like. Certainly not DOB, hobbies, 'aims'

and other such stuff required in CVs.

Come on, , don't be so cruel. Who knows - perhaps Mohammed will

swamp us with work as early as next week. And frankly, I see 'CV'

requests from prospective agency clients in my mailbox every other day....

Anyway, most of us probably don't include hobbies and aims in whatever

we sent to clients...

Cheers,

So do I. And when I bother to reply, I tell them exactly the same thing I

told Mohammed.

,

All what I need are your contact details and the information listed in my

message if you wish to work with me. I am NOT interested in your hobby, aim,

etc...
