Guest guest
I'm translating an SmPC. The 400 mg tablet is white, biconvex, oblong **mit doppelseitiger Schmuckkerbe** The 600 mg tablet is white, biconvex, oblong **mit beidseitiger Schmuckrille** In the package insert " mit doppelseitiger Schmuckkerbe " has been translated as " with decorative scoring on both sides " Q1 - Are the 2 German phrases synonymous in meaning? (second one added later for the higher strength by someone who just didn't see the previous description, or thought his phrase was better/nicer) Q2 - Do you agree with the previous translation - if not what exactly does it mean? Q3 - Why would a pharmaceutical company bother to score tablets that " absolutely must " be swallowed whole - and make it decorative into the bargain? Thanks for your enlightened thoughts.
