Guest guest
My daughter is in a very different situation but she is on human growth hormone and has autism. She has a genetic abnormality called 's Syndrome which means her body makes very little growth hormone. I give her daily shots and she went from falling off the charts growthwise to maintaining the 3%. I have not noticed a change in her behaviors etc since starting the growth hormone and she has been on it over 9 months. We did have her tonsils and adenoids removed at the end of June and in the last two months have seen better behaviors, better playing with her sister and an all around decrease in bad mood. I attribute these changes directly to having her tonsils and adenoids removed because she had terrible sleep apnea before. Molly Growth Hormone Deficiency Treatment Is anyone treating Growth Hormone Deficiency while Chelating? We are testing my oldest for this problem, he had a growth hormone challenge test today, the protein test came back low, his bone age is within 6 months he is 6.5yo and less than 3% on the growth chart where he used to be 25% years previously. He is also GFCFSF+++ and on LDN... The endo said if the test we did today comes back low and we re-do it with the same results then we'll need to look into treatment options. I was originally thinking we should watch and wait and maybe consider this after chelation has had a chance to even things out. We've been chealting since March on LDN since Jan. and doing Quintet/Supplementation since September last year... Does anyone have any insight to share on this issue? Any reason these Growth Hormone Therapy shouldn't be done with everything else we are doing? I didn't explain any of the DAN! stuff to the endo leaving it as, " We are doing a bunch of nutritional stuff " ... I'm imagining if we do need to do Growth Hormone Treatments I'll need to fully disclose all the stuff we are doing... Thanks, near LAX
