Hello,

I am stuck on a terms in a paper concerning radiation doses in computed

tomography.

The term in French is " foyer flottant " in the sentence which is an

explanation given under a table concerning " Collimation " which forms a

line in the table. The phrase is:

rotation. "

I can find a French definition (see below) but I need the English

equivalent of " foyer flottant " but after a couple of hours on it I have

got nowhere. Any help would be much appreciated!

Many thanks

High ,

Maybe you should read this :

" GPU accelerated CT reconstruction for clinical use:

quality driven performance "

http://users.telenet.be/tomkimpe/papers/SPIE_mi07_6510_199.pdf

they speak of " floating point " technique.

Have a great week
