Guest guest
Thanks to all who answered my inquiry. I was worried because I accidentally opened one of those spams. Hope you are all having one of your better days. Love, Jackie E.
Guest guest
Heya all - If in doubt about your system, scan it baby! These are two applications that are free that I use to keep my systems clean. I've used both of these applications for years. Make sure to check their specs and your computer specs before downloading and/or installing. I tell anyone this whenever I recommend software as I am not certain of everyone's systems. I would install and run this first. It has different settings options, and the option to buy the full license. Truthfully, I've used this for three years and haven't had to purchase that. I used the free one and it's fine. MalWare Bytes http://www.malwarebytes.org/ This good for basic system admin ops, all in one place (clearing, history, cache, registry items, start menu selections, installation/registry issue scan and fix..etc...). I have it setup to run upon start up - but I have it setup to not remember passwords. Warning, you can set it up to erase everything related to internet history/caching/forms include passwords. Keep an eye on it as you're tinkering around. C Cleaner http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner I am a bit of a geek. Sincerely, E. Sometimes something gets by them, but I just mark it " block " . I do not sell this program. >Jackie D. > Re: wondering about spam > >This one is here Jackie!! I do not believe that it was coming through your emails. I'm fairly sure that I know whose it is, but, it stopped about as fast as it came on. So, I'm sure that person has already taken care of it. > >________________________________ > >Hello Everyone: Saw a few posts about spam and am hoping it's not coming thru on my emails. Guest guest
These programs are all that I use. Malware bytes was able to rid my brothers laptop when no other program could, and ccleaner works like a charm.
