Guest guest
on a Belgian letter of referral to an Antwerp hospital there are a few dot points about the previous history of the patient who has suspected DVT. One of them is: Risicofactoren - roken [= smoking]: 30 pj No further useful context. So many unlikely(?) possibilities: 30 cigarettes per jaar (per annum), or lapsing into French par jour (30 a day). Everything is in Dutch. I think I've seen tobacco comsumption given as a number of packs, so could it be 'pakkejaren' (pack years)? Only one pack a month? Thanks, Connor Melbourne
