Guest guest
I have that Sun-Sat pill thingy too.... but I was putting too many things in there to make it pallatable to do daily. Maybe I'll revisit the pill box and mix up the number of things I put in each day. I can't handle the sun, so chose the Vitamins... But I was never good at taking pills regularly... Then my PCP asked that I take a Calcium w/ Vitamin D pill instead - so I did. Also started Omega 3 b/c read that it lowers cholesterol. Along w/ a daily multi-vitamin. And I went ahead and bought a daily pill box - you know, the Sunday - Sat. pill box... Now I take my daily pills daily finally... I guess it's making me healthier - who knows... Here's the Vitamin D article from RD: http://tinyurl. com/4dm47j > > I'm watching the morning news, and they just showed a news clip about the daily dose of Vitamin D for children being increased from 200 units to 400 units (is it mcg?) through adolesence. They say that the increase will help stave off rickets and other diseases. > Helene
