Guest guest
Hi and Bonnie I am so sorry that your loved ones are having such a hard time of it. I know that you all are worried sick, and life just doesnt seem fair right now. I would like to share some ideas with you all, if that is ok. I will try to be brief. I have to ask if either of you has consulted with any Natural doctors. Sometimes when Conventional medicine doesnt seem to have answers, there might be an answer elsewhere. Long before modern medicine came along, there were things like Eastern and Natural medicine. Perhaps even the 'Alternative' and Conventional medicine could both work together for healing the body. This is just a suggestion if your interested. I am sort of a Christian-Buddhist, kinda sorta. I study both paths, because I think that there is good in places we forget to look, or tend to disregaurd. - In the Christian path there is talk about life after death. - In the Buddhist path there is a saying - 'once alive, always alive'. Both philosophys seem to agree on this one point. Even science has touched on this idea. Scientists know that our 'life force' in our bodies is energy. Science has proven that energy cannot be created or destroyed, only altered in state, much like water can be solid, liquid, or gas. Then there are folks who say that they have had an 'out of body' experiance. They did return to their body, but while outside, they knew that they were themselves. You know, with this kind of evidence comming from so many different angles, the idea that we live on and on, regaurdless of our physical body, gives me personally - 'HOPE'. I pray that my words will do the same thing for you all. I am not saying that your loved ones will pass on anytime soon. I am just trying to give you strength, just in case, you do have to let them go. And maybe help plant the knowledge that if this happens, one day you all will be together again. I am praying that you and your loved ones will heal, somehow, someway, and that things will work out the way that you wish them to. And I am blasting each of you with good energy, just in case that might help too. I am sure that any of us who read about your storys, will be able to relate, and send you love, prayers, and everything good also. Try to be strong my friends. love don in ks > > > > Hi all > > I have not posted for sometime now but always check in to read the posts. I am sad to say my Son is sicker now than he was last year. Then they said he had alcoholic hepatitis, was very jaundiced etc after spending a couple of months in hospital he came out but never lost the jaundice...he started to drink again..this resulted in him having a variceal bleed...they have treated it by a Variceal band ligation....he was due to have a biopsy but discharged himself from hospital. He is now at home, quite poorly, I am going in to care for him a couple of times a day. The Dr said he has got cirrhosis they just need to see how bad it is. He had nose bleeds yesterday and I feel scared as he had those before his last bleed. He is very thin and sleeping quite a lot...his bilirubin levels are 100 which is good for him as when he went into hosp last year they reached 480. He is eating fairly well. He is definitely not drinking now. His blood is not able to clot very well and when they do the biopsy it will be by the Transjugular liver biopsy method. What do you all think? can he recover? he has mental health issues which make him anxious and he cannot handle being with other people which is what led to him discharging himself. He says he wants to die at home...he does not want to go into hospital as a patient anymore although he will go for his biopsy as a day patient. He says life has nothing for him. He has to have all his teeth removed soon as they are crumbling due to hosp meds last year..is this common?? > > I feel at a loss, can he get better, might he die soon? Sorry I know I have rambled and everything is disjointed but thank you for reading this and any thoughts will be appreciated..Kind regards to you all, > > >
