Guest guest
How common is it for " us " (RA, SLE, FM ...) to have a hard time sleeping? Do those of you who have a hard time sleeping find it difficult to sleep only when in pain (I know that's always for many of you)? Just wondering because I seem to have the opposite problem. I can spend 14 hours straight in bed on a regular basis. My body NEEDS a minimum of 8 hours of sleep a night - 10 would be better. (With 8 hours of sleep, I fall asleep in class) But I do not have problems with pain yet (fortunately). Right now my pain etc is stiffness. My Rheumy put me on elavil and I have been fine since. Sleep difficulties are common for us because we have pain waking us up all night long.
