Guest guest
I'm with you " Jollidee " ; I don't see why ablation couldn't be done later as a separate procedure. Don't remove the womb lining if you don't need to. Hopefully, you will get enough improvement from the hysteroscopic resection without having ablation. You might want to look into diet and herbal medicine as a way of reducing bleeding and preventing growth of more fibroids - although this is an unproved realm of treatment. If you search the archives of this discussion group, you will find previous discussions of ablation.
Guest guest
jollidee- I had hysteroscopic resection for 2 lg fibroids and lap for some endo and balloon ablation . I only had pain for 2 days - I'm 50 and I have had no periods or any other complications since then . I still have hormones but no periods . After years of excessive bleeding I would do the ablation again If my periods ever came back. KEB
Guest guest
Sydney= I also did lupron ! It worked great shrinking the fibroids so that they could be removed through the tube during the ablation. jollidee- I had hysteroscopic resection for 2 lg fibroids and lap for some endo and balloon ablation .
