How big is your dog and how much SAMe do you give? I have a dog that is about 6

years old, 7 pounds, and I am noticing she can't jump up on the furniture or bed

anymore. I have a footstool for her and the other two (2 and 3 pounds) to get

up on. I bought some glucosimane for her last night at Petsmart but it's a

capsule and powdery. I use dry dog food so I can't give it to her on her food

and she won't lick the powder. She loves to chew vitamins, though, so I'm

wondering if SAMe would work for her. Is it a capsule or chewable?

Becky,

My dog was given a prescription for the SAMe. It is called Denosyl SD4 and

is in pill form.

I give my dog pills by wrapping it up in something like a piece of cheese or

chicken. She gobbles

it so fast that she doesn¹t even know there is a pill in there. Before

giving it to your dog, I¹d ask her vet.

My dog is 70 lbs so our dosages would be way different.
