Guest guest
Hi Markay, My myo is scheduled for the 19th of October. I haven't started to eat any differently, due to the scheduled surgery. However the Lupron injections have turned on this incredible sweet tooth in me. The cravings are bigger than me. I've given up trying to fight it, I now just indulge because otherwise I'd go to bed thinking about chocolate. I too have plans to go into a mad cleaning mode. It's cool to hear that somebody else going into cleaning mode too! ----Original Message Follows---- From: mbrown@... I'm ravenously hungry all the time for stuff I NEVER eat. OK, I know its just nerves, but I haven't eaten the first thing that tasted good in about 9 months (I've lost 63 pounds during this time). And now, I'm getting ready to start feeling as good as I look now - I'm going to start eating like a pig? This does not compute!! Fortunately I doubt I can do that much damage in a couple of weeks - and my stomach is so small from eating so disgustingly healthy that even when I think I'm going to eat too much I only eat a few bites - and still only mildly sinful stuff. But, its driving me crazy. This nervous energy is terrible. And, I really didn't think I was that uncomfortable once I'd made up my mind that I really had to do this myomectomy. Oh well, I started doing the big clean (my mother will be coming from out of town to help after my surgery). The nervous energy has been great for that - I can see that I actually have a day bed in my office now (found the papers from when I bought my house 16 months ago at the bottom of the pile). Well, maybe a little nervous energy from approaching surgery is good in some ways! Did anybody else get this nervous this soon? Are the nerves cured with the myo too? Guest guest
, This cleaning thing is definitely a different thing for me. Its GOT to be surgery related, because I don't EVER think I've been this bad with it before. Maybe a little of it will stay around after the fibroids are taken away. Sure hope all goes well with your surgery on the 19th. We'll both be having a good ole time that week! Markay
