Guest guest
I hope that those that have an opinion on this, will answer. Does it mean something when my stomach suddenly bloats up and is hard as a rock?? It comes with an icky feeling too. I'm hoping it's just a flu bug going around. Guest guest
Hi Gloria I have been having the same problem this year - stomach bloat. Uncomfortable and makes it hard to eat. Dont think its gas because Im not farting, but I have been eating breadstuffs again lately - sandwiches and cake. People can become GLUTON [refined grains] or LACTOSE [dairy] intolerant ---> this is pretty common. A lot of folks deal with these issues as they grow older, but they can happen at any age. My younger son has been lactose intolerant since birth, and it was impossible to even nurse him. People with liver issues can also have these problems because our liver is a MAJOR part of our digestive tract. There are also other causes - meds, etc. - click this link - 'causes of stomach bloating' - http://search.yahoo.com/search?ei=utf-8 & fr=slv8-tyc8 & p=causes%20of%20stomach%20b\ loating & type= Check your diet and meds, and make healthier changes if you can. Talk with your doctor if you start to suffer - dont wait - it may be important. love don in ks > > I hope that those that have an opinion on this, will answer. Guest guest
It sounds like ascites to me...fluid in the belly. I had that too before my transplant and had to be drained (paracentisis). It was hard as a rock and uncomfortable. You should see your doctor about it. Take care of yourself. Penny > > I hope that those that have an opinion on this, will answer.
