[ ] Up Date On MOM

Hey guys this tesses daughter Emmy. I'm Giving you a up date on how

she is doing she got home wensday at 1:30 pm

It was difficult for her to come up the stairs but she did all by

herself with only having to sit when she got up the first flight of

stairs. I make sure that i check her blood sugar and when needed i give

her insulin . She is doing good on the liquid diet. I give her milk ,

juice , water, yogurt , popsicles . She tried broth but it was to salty

for her. I can already tell hertaste buds are changing becuse she tried

2 oz of Yoplait lime whip and it did not taste good to her. She took

alot of naps yesterday which is very good because you do all your

healing when you sleep. She does let me know when she needs somthing. I

always tell her before i go to sleep that if she needs me during the

night That i dont care what time it is to wake me up . But so far so

good she is just extremely tired which be for awhile. The drs and

nurses were very good to mom when she was up at OHSU. there was a very

nice nurse the night mom had her surgey his name was he was very

supportive for mom and very caring he was always making sure if mom was

confertable. which i was glad to see that everybody was making sure she

got what she needed. I was so happy monday when i got off work my sister

surprise me and met me so i wouldn havet to go back by myself and then

that day momwas getting moved to a room on the fourtheeth floor. I spet

the night with her that night and tuesday night both me and my sister

did. which I think made mom feel more secure. She was very un

confertablr in the hopital she just couldnt sleep and she had alot of

back pain and that probley did not help much at all. But now that she is

finley home for good she can catch up on the sleep she missed for a

week. She is up and walking which is good. I think as she heals she will

be feeling alot better. Exspecialy in a couple months . To think i will

be the first person to see her change . that is going to be so awsome

because she is going to be able to do things she hasnt been able to do

for years. I typed her a email telling her Me and my sister are going

to take her a girls night out to a club so we can do some karoke mabe

me and my sister will be able to get mom up there finley. I even put in

dont freak if guys are flirting with as long as there nice but first

they havet to go through me and my sister or ther out of the picture.

This going to totaly change her life forever and for the best. Now her

big journey now awaits her . she is going to have so much fun going

clothes shopping.I'm going to help her pick out a awsome out to go out

in . But first both of will get a make over. we have always wanted to do

that so now are wish will come true. Ya who . I'm going toget alot of

pictures of her and make my own albumof my mom for her and one for me

so that we can cherish this the rest of our lives. I will keep you guys

up dated hopfully every day . Ionly work 2 hours a day which right now

is perfect. So that way I can be there for her. Feel free to call me I

usually get home about 9:45 a to 9:55 am so after that I'm available The

rest of the day unless i needto go to the store. So dont hesitate .

Emmy,

I am so glad that Tess is home, and she can catch up on her sleep. I

know if someone wants to rest, get out of the hospital! I am so glad

she has you there with her to take care of her, and make sure she is

alright. Yes, her life is going to change right in front of her, it

will be so wonderful, I am so glad for her.

Thanks so much for keeping us updated, I have been so worried about

our dear Tess. She is a very wonderful lady, and I am so glad I know
