Guest guest
hi, terry, and all i do read the list every once in a while but i have been very busy here in costa rica. as you may remember, i moved down here because i could no longer stand living in a medicated society filled with zombied people, but to my surprise and dismay, there is a similar problem down here in the neotropics. the drug lords have their little reps everywhere passing out samples and getting people hooked. many gringos come down here and they are all loaded up on psych meds. we have even had a few medication related incidents similar to those in the States -- one, a guy walks into the bank and starts shooting. kills a couple of people before turning the gun on himself. he didn't come into rob the bank, just obeyed the voices in his head. and yes, he was on meds. otherwise, life is great down here. i've been here for 17 months nonstop. i'm happy i made the move, but i didn't realize that there was no real escape from the mass drugging of the world's population. oh, yeah, there was another incident where a gringo went to the top of his roof and started shooting his neighbors who were in their houses. he killed a young doctor with a wife and two kids. all the news reports said there was no motive, no reason for his actions -- ha! i knew better -- he had to have been on mind meds. hope all of you are well and continuing the fight against the monster drug lords. ------------------------------------------------------------

Guest guest
Hi haven't posted for some tiMe but to cut a long story short my gp is doing yet more thyroid tests . My problem is that I smoke and have heard that smoking can effect your results making them seem better than they are *as I have no willpower to stop at present does anyone know how long I should refrain from my dreadful habit before my test next week thanks Jan k Sent with Mobile Mail by Orange
Guest guest
Hi Jan, I've not heard this one before, but smoking gets the blame for so much, it wouldn't surprise me..... Stopping for a few hours before a test strikes me as a desperate act which wouldn't make that much difference to the results.. although if anyone knows better I'm happy to hear about it. I smoked for 25 years and stopped 15 months ago, I've been hypo for over 20 years and haven't noticed any significant difference in any of my test results, however, you know smoking is not doing you any good and quitting is a good idea. I did it cold turkey with the help of www.whyquit.com. If you have signs of hypothyroidism but are untreasted then your adrenals will work overtime to support you. The adrenals need lots of vitamin C and smoking depletes this. You should be taking as much vitamin C as you can take without it giving you the runs.. I take 3000 mcg daily. Are you having a problem getting a diagnosis for thyroid problems? . > > Hi haven't posted for some tiMe but to cut a long story short my gp is doing yet more thyroid tests .
