Guest guest
Congratulations! Starting any new job is terrifying I think! That is normal to feel that way. Hang in there, you can do it! Keep us posted on how it goes. Becky [ ] A quick update from a old stranger I don't post here much, but I do follow all of you when time permits. I recently had to change my college major after I was involved in a car accident. Perhaps in time I will be able to enroll in nursing school, for now I am pursuing accounting/bookkeeping. <--- It's only a small change right?! This semester I will have a certificate in small business bookkeeping, and I have accepted a job (part time) as an entry level bookkeeper. I am currently living on SSDI, as well as my parents generosity, so I am terrified as well as thrilled! I have a lot to lose if this doesn't go well. If any of you can spare any good thoughts I would very much appreciate it, I need all the good thoughts I can get. Thanks so much
Guest guest
Hi , I have not been here long, but I assume you have RA, not sure if you have other diseases. I think the biggest thing to be aware of when moving back to work is the stress level. Hopefully the company and the environment you will be working in are low stress, but even they are not, being aware of when you feel stress and taking deep breaths, staying focused and organized, will help you make it through. I wish you all the best. Guest guest
Hi , I'm glad to hear from you, and hope your doing alright. I'm sorry to hear about your car accident, I hope you wasn't hurt to bad. You have had a lot of changes going on since I've heard from you. You can always pursue your dreams, just maybe put on the back burner for awhile. You are young, so just do what you need to do now. I'm glad that your parents are helping you, and your getting SSDI, that is great. You can focus on your career, good luck let us know how your doing, Tawny --- In , " " <stephanierider@y...> wrote: > I don't post here much, but I do follow all of you when time permits. > I recently had to change my college major after I was involved in a > car accident. Guest guest
Nice to hear from you, ! Nothing ventured, nothing gained, as old people like me often say. I'm sure you will do just fine. New adventures are often a bit scary, but try not to worry. Employers are always looking for hard-working people. I'll tell you where to go!
