While investigating programs at the community college here, I noticed a very interesting pattern. Almost all the " technical " or " trade " programs include as a requirement very practical classes in business. Basic business skills were required for ever program track except the four year college degrees. I found this very interesting because somehow the " trades " and " technicians " got the big picture about autonomy. We work to make money. If we enjoy what we do great. But the bottom line is we need to make a profit to have choices and control in our lives. Hopefully LAMP will help therapist feel " comfortable " with that idea.
