Guest guest
I might be in the Chicago area June 4 and 5. There is a Reliv convention there that I would like to attend since we just got involved in it. Not sure yet if we will go since we are going to Florida towards the end of June and I really can't afford another vacation, even if it's only for two days. But, if I go I would love to meet anyone that lives in the area. I think it's in Naperville (sp?) but I have to get move info. I know that dietary changes helped me as I cannot eat potatoes and white bread. I'm wondering if the fresh garden tomatoes this summer will also cause a problem as a friend told me the nightshade vegetables would be a problem. I've been trying to eat 6 small meals a day but can't seem to do it. The closest I get is maybe grabbing a few cheese cubes once in a while. Becky [ ] Becky and Reliv Becky, Its amazing how you make a diet change and it changes everything. Ask Tess and I how diet changes have effected us. I think if you reduce the carbs, sugars or eliminate them if you can..increase the protien and fresh veggies you have no choice but to feel better. Also eating six smalls meals a day..which means you need to eat every 3 hrs will make a world a difference. I was not big into fad diets like Atkins and South Beach. But I am hear to tell you there is something to be said in a positive light about them. Good luck Toni
Guest guest
Yes, Becky, that's how it's spelled. I live in Naperville, IL (founded by Joe Naper in 1831, population approaching 140,000). At the moment, those are terrible days for me due to graduations, birthdays, and out-of-town visitors. Careful about getting involved with Reliv International. I believe it's a multi-level marketing setup. Here's a good article entitled, " What's Wrong with Multi-level Marketing? " : http://www.vandruff.com/mlm.html I'll tell you where to go! Mayo Clinic in Rochester http://www.mayoclinic.org/rochester s Hopkins Medicine http://www.hopkinsmedicine.org Re: [ ] Becky and Reliv > I might be in the Chicago area June 4 and 5. Guest guest
Yes, I know it's multi level marketing. We bought the products for ourselves and got it wholesale. I have just started my whole family on it so we will use what we bought. We can get our money back or anything unopened so I figure if we don't use it we'll return it.
