Guest guest
Oh Sue, I'm so sorry . . . please don't let it drop at that. You have his short answer - the quick and easy one . . give it a little time and call back telling him you are still dizzy. Many doctors don't want to take the time to delve into complex issues . . . Make him! That's his job - - or insist that he refer you to someone who knows what to do. Six months I have waited for that appointment just to be kept waiting for an hour then told I suffer with migraines. He seemed to ignore the dizziness my WORST symptom, another waste of my time. Guest guest
Sue, I am so sorry that you are still dealing with that awful dizziness! I have to wonder if it is all hormonally related. I am having some menopause type symptoms, and I noticed a little dizziness with the creams when I had too much in my system. Another thought....are you taking high doses of either Cod liver oil, fish oil and/or evening primrose oil? If you are not, you may want to consider stepping that up. When I take alot of cod liver oil in one sitting, I feel alot better! Guest guest
Hi Ladies, My name is . I am still healing and my mom has been on here. I thought I was dizzy and I had my mom checking me all the time, and she was the one that figured out that it was my eyes like bouncing up and down would be the best discription I can think of to describe it the best way. If I were you I would have someone check your eyes while you look to the right and the left. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, . > Dear Rogene, > > I had my appointment today what a complete waste of time, after listening to what I had to say he looked into my eyes with a light and told me I had migraines and prescribed me two different kind of tablets, needless to say I ripped it up before I left the hospital. Guest guest
Oh, dear, Sue.....I can empathize with you, for sure. I also waited a long time to see the rheumatologist I saw. He was an arrogant, very elderly man. Wrote me off very quickly, especially when he heard I used " holistic " methods. He as much as said, " why don't you just use your holistic methods to make yourself all better? " I said, " I'm trying to....that's why I'm here. Western medicine is part of my holistic healing program. " I left feeling very frustrated and invalidated. He wrote a letter to my family doctor....when I had my visit for the results, my doc said there was no diagnosis. I asked for a copy of his letter....oh, my gosh....he had put I had myalgia. Don't know why my doc didn't mention that. Oh, yeah, ofcourse I know why! He also eluded to the fact I had mental illness problems and should probably be checked up on in awhile. Oh, I tell ya! I'm praying for you, Sue. Please try to let that negative visit go. It'll only stress you more. Easier said than done, I know. Guest guest
Hi . . . It's so good to see you here! . . Welcome! .We've been following your progress! . . . You have a wonderful mom - as if you didn't know that! I'm thrilled to hear you've made so much progress! . . . It will probably take more time - but you're headed in the right direction. Do your doctors agree that it was your implants making you sick now? Hugs, Rogene carcamo79 <carcamo79@...> wrote: Hi Ladies, My name is . I am still healing and my mom hasbeen on here. Guest guest
Sue, I'm so disappointed for you! I'd have reacted the same way! My neurologist has disappointed me greatly; I respect his obvious intelligence, medical training, experience, kindness, decency, but....what? It's his medical training. He can't think outside the box. And that's the problem. We're outside the box. I had hopes of seeing him again and getting some help, because my symptoms have flared, and my problems, residual damage, etc., is mainly neurological, fueled by vasculitis which is the root process which silicone + sets off. Then it depends of where the vasculitis is the worst. Mine is CNS (central nervous system) and PNS (peripheral nervous system). And it's scary stuff! I agree with Rogene's response. And I plan to have a whole strategy, a plan of attack, as it were, in place this time when I see mine! <grin> I'm going to tell him, ask him for, exactly what I want from him! Pretty please, with sugar on it! Hope you get some help with what's going on, Sue. No fun living in limbo. 2 British Butterflies (Papillons)
Guest guest
Patty, I can understand cod liver oil might well help, but I wonder if you worry about the high level of vitamin A in it. If not careful, and getting A in other products as well, you can get too much, and too much A is harmful, I believe I've read that somewhere, warning against use of cod liver oil as opposed to just plain fish oil. Can't find what I'm looking for right now! <grin> What's your take on this?
