] Neck Surgery Question

Hi Rick, I have surgery coming up on my cervical spine C1 and C2. I was

terrified until I phoned our own dear Pat who has had many surgeries on her

spine and I recall her telling me that any spine surgery should be performed by

a neuro-surgeon not an ortho. I do know that after speaking to her. because of

her extensive knowledge and her patient explanations, I no longer have any fear

or feeling of apprehension. I can't speak for Pat but when she reads your post,

if time permits, she will email you with some information that will answer your

questions.

Love you, Pat. For those of you who have not had the pleasure of knowing her,

she is one of the bravest ladies I know, who in spite of all the many pain and

setbacks she has endured over the years, has never lost her great sense of

humour. Hopefully, when time permits she will tell her story here.
