Guest guest
Hi Kathe, Sorry it took me so long to thank you for your time and advice. Have had a couple of rough days. You made some really good points and reinforced my feeling that my body really doesn't like Arava. I've decided not to go back on it and wait to talk to my rheumy in July about other options. I worry a lot about the side effects on my liver. I think the RA is causing enough damage to my whole body without adding unnecessary risks. Sometimes I don't know what's worse...the disease or the cure but I must add that MTX has made a huge difference in the quality of my life. Thanks for giving me permission to whine. I try not to because I know how boring it gets to here people complain about their aches and pains constantly. Most times I do pretty well but sometimes it gets to be a bit much. This week is a bear with cataract surgery Wed., follow up visit Thursday and a trip to the hospital for an epidural pain injection Friday. I swear if it weren't for RA (and the drug side effects) I'd have no social life at all ;-). Anyway, thanks again . Hope to post more often and get to know everyone better. This is such a great group. Have a good night. in NC
