Guest guest
Kaylene, I know hon, but since it was a message to more than one person, I was putting in info to both of you. Believe me, I am not letting them have any of my records, and thanks to the new privacy laws, they can't get to them without my consent. My doctor told me that the only way they could ever see them is if I signed a consent form, or if I sued the company, then they become public property. I don't have " private " LTD insurance, as in outside the company, just the LTD my company offers, so that may not do me any good in the long run. I'm hoping that if I go to job services, they would see me as a " disabled " person, and I would qualify under that basis. I looked up labor law attorneys in the phone book, and would you believe that the one nearest to me is over an hour away? There were loads of them for accidents and wrongful death compensation, but there are only 4 that I saw listed for labor law...3 in Columbus, and 1 in Cleveland! All I know is that I need to really look hard into getting out of that place if they turn down my FMLA again! Jen
