Prednisone is also used to helpo mature lungs in babies that they suspect

will be delivered prematurely. I have two premmies..so I have been down that

road two times. I was on Brethine or Tributiline to stop premature contractions

in my 29th week of pregnancy with my first and again with my second. There

are a lot of meds that have mutiple uses.
