Guest guest
Buddy is home! I went and picked him up today after my doctor's appointment. He is doing well although he is griping at me for his having to be away from home. The vet said he has a very quiet Meow - I asked her if she had the right cat. He Meows loud like a Siamese and he has been doing it since he got home. I have to watch him closely for the next 7-10 days and he will be on prescription food for a time. That is okay I am just very happy to have him home The doctor at the base is going to find me a new rheumatologist and she changed my medications. She was very upset that the RA I presently have had me on Ambien still. She said it is very addictive and would like to get me off it. She gave me a prescription of Tramazol to help me reduce on the Ambien but said it will take 2 weeks for the Ambien to get out of my system. She thinks that could be one of the reasons I have been feeling so exhausted lately. She is also setting up an appointment for me with a long term pain management clinic here in Enid. They don't have any RA doctors here that take Tricare so I will still have to either go to Tulsa or OKC for the RA doctor appointment but maybe I won't have to go as often. I have been taken off of Bextra and put on Modic...the base had some financial cut backs in prescription medications so they gave me the Modic instead. She(the doctor at the base) wanted me to make sure I took it every day. The last thing she did was blood tests to ascertain my thyroid levels and my glucose as the blood tests that Dr Codding did were just basic tests. So all in all today went very well. We shall see what tomorrow brings. God bless, Althea
Guest guest
Hi Althea, I am so glad Buddy is home, and he is doing better. I know that your spirits are lifted with your baby home. You take care of him, and I know you will,(smile) I am glad that you went to the base doctor today, and your getting a new rheumy, you don't need to go to that quack of a so-called doctor. Are you still going to stay on Remicade? You keep me posted, I'm concerned about you, take care Tawny --- In , " blueroses11 " <bluerose11@e...> wrote: > Buddy is home!
