Guest guest
Just wondering if anyone else out there is as afraid of getting general anesthesia as I am. I'm scheduled to go in for my myo on the 16th of October and asked my doctor if there was an alternative to general anesthesia. He recommended I have an epidural with a tranqualizer to keep me calm. I'm really up for this idea since the 2 times in the past where I've had general anesthesia I've woken up feeling like I was going to die (well maybe not like I was actually going to die, but I did feel REALLY, REALLY terrible!). He said people ask to have an epidural all the time, so I was hoping there was someone out there who's experienced a myo this way and could tell me what it was like. It makes me feel a little less nervous knowing I don't have to go under a general to have the surgery. Anne
