Guest guest
A side effect of remicade is shaking - becoming so cold that you just shake. One of the gentlemen who is in my group has had this happen to him when getting the injection. I have gotten cold but not as cold as he did. I now get cold even when it is over 100 degrees out and usually have a sweater or sweat shirt on. I haven't heard of Remicade doing this after you have received the infusion though. (the man in my group) now gets a shot of benedryl before his infusion. I think coldness is a by-product of RA itself. Instead of being warm you are cold all the time...at least for me that is the way it is. My body is warm to touch but I am cold and if I get a chill it is forever going away. I wish your friend the best of luck and will add him to my prayers. God bless, Althea
