Guest guest
Hi Tawny, I hope the Pred. helps you. I haven't been keeping up with the group much either. Just can't seem to get the ol' energy level up, or the pain level down, plus now I have a rip roaring case of thrush in my mouth and my (ahem) private area. Oh goody! Just what I needed! I see my doctor this afternoon, and the orthopedic on Tuesday to schedule whatever he's going to do to get some feeling back in my right arm. I'm glad you're finally going to get your mammogram on the 11th. Do they use mammopads where you're going? I've heard they make the procedure more comfortable, though our hospital doesn't use them. They also told me to take Tylenol or Aleve before you go to cut down on the pain. Last time I was scheduled, my doctor substituted an ultrasound which gave him much more information and less traumatic for me. (my daughter) is helping me type my essays into book format, and I'm going to self-publish and sell it at our local bookstore. I plan to donate the profits to Parkinson's research. I'm really excited about this! After that, next project is to get my children's book published while I work on #2 children's book. Boy, I'm on a roll. TJ is going to illustrate both the children's books for me. I thought they would be more kid-friendly if he did the drawings. Well, time to go curl up with my book to read. I signed up for the adult summer reading program at the library last night--it will force me to spend some time relaxing, not that I need an excuse right now. You take care, and know that someone in southern Indiana is keeping you in her prayers. Take time to giggle shamelessly, Judi
