They are all NOT hoaxes. Well -- whoever said that they're ALL hoaxes was badly mistaken. They are NOT all hoaxes But if you get a message that says " send this to everyone you know " or " there's no cure " or " your computer will be permanently destroyed " you can be 99% sure it's a hoax. NOW -- someone sent a virus to the list as a demo? My NAV stopped it, but I had to manually delete it from my mail server. I would suggest that sending a virus ON PURPOSE is probably bordering on malicious mischief. Earl Earl Needham, KD5XB mailto:needhame@... Guest guest
My point exactly, but whoever sent the virus, it was unwarranted, but luckily Norton stopped it.

If I understand >correctly, it was a worm that sent itself to everyone in his/her address >book. Sorry, no. There is a person on the list who found the virus in someones sig file and forwarded it to the list. I don't remember his name -- I had to manually delete that email from my email server -- but I think it was Jack or something similar. Earl Earl Needham, KD5XB mailto:needhame@...
