Guest guest
Hi Kathi,....I'm sorry that I haven't got back to you, I just haven't been feeling so good. I kept thinking I will write her back later, and it just never happened. I'm sorry, forgive me. The storms passed by here, thank God. We went to Crescent yesterday to visit some grave sites, and so we had a great day, but I heard the storms went that way, after we left. I'm not sure if the Humira is causing the lumps to come up, I have had several recently come up though. I'm too scared to tell Dr.C until I find out about the mammogram. The RA meds is a bit of hope for all of us, and we just don't won't to give it up. I will if I have too, I'm just keeping my fingers crossed. My mammogram is June 11th, and then right after that is Dr.C's visit, so I will talk to him about it then. Althea is having some sleep problems, so she is wanting to try a med, if she qualifies for it. I didn't watch a lot of weather last night, can you believe I went to bed? I get use to all these storms after being here 41 years, but sometimes they do scare me. Well, I hope your having a great Memorial Day weekend, enjoy it,hugs T > > > Tawny: Hoping all these nightly storms are missing you. Guest guest
a, Thanks for the prayers sent this way, we need them. These storms do get wicked at times, and the tornados are scary. I have been in a few in my life, but I've always lived here. Thanks so much for thinking about everyone, hugs Tawny > > > Tawny: I misworded this an even confused myself....I meant could the > > lumps be related to the meds...sorry about that....must have been > > sitting on my thought process......anyway....wanted to know if you > > are OK after tonight I saw the tornado headed toward OKC on channel > > 9 and it was making a mess all the way across OK, hoping you were > > out of dangers way.....I keet thinking surely not again in OKC, I > > did see where it came across in the Betahny area, I hope you are > > iOK...I also saw Althea's Enis was getting hit pretty hard. Guest guest
So sorry to her you are having a hard time. You are not alone. I have been very painful since all this bad weather and storms have started. i have been very painful. I have had to cut my morning walks short due to all the ankle pain. I hope you feel better soon on the higher dose of prednisone. I refuse to go up on mine. I just keep rubbing my ankle and sore joints down with Sombra and try to keep moving and hoping once this weather stops I will feel better. I went for my post-op check up this week and I have lost a total of 18 lbs and got my first band filling. so far all is going well. I hope to have enough money to get a GAzelle exercise machine later this month. Toni
Guest guest
Hi Judi, I would love to get it finished, it would be so great. I have thought about trying to do something with it again. If I ever get it done, I will do whatever it takes to get it out to everyone. I had a very horrible tragedy in my life many years ago, I trusted someone, went overseas with them, and no way out. I did manage to get out, and I am a very lucky woman. I will keep you informed when I do something with it, I hope to start feeling better, so I can do it. About 6 years ago while living in Tulsa, I had a producer call me from OKC, very interested, but I didn't deal with it at the time. But, hey I'm in the big city now, so might get it out there. Thanks Judi, for your inspiration, to make me believe I can do it, hugs T > In a message dated 03/06/2004 13:34:08 Central Standard Time, > mormar46@y... writes: > > > > > > (my daughter) is helping me type my essays into book format, > > and I'm going to self-publish and sell it at our local bookstore. Guest guest
Hi Toni, I'm glad to hear that you have lost weight, that is wonderful. You just keep up the good work, girl. Sorry, to hear that you hurting too, what is going on. I hear so many people having so much pain right now, I guess the weather is a big part of it. I didn't won't to up the Prednisone, but not much else to do right now. You know how you get to the point, that you just can't deal with it anymore, I am at that stage right now. So, I have got to get some kind of relief. You take care, and I hope you start feeling better soon, hugs Tawny > So sorry to her you are having a hard time. You are not alone. Guest guest
Judi, I had the mammogram and ultrasound they all come back normal. They did show fibro cystic tissue, which is nothing to be concerned about. That was such great news, that I feel a big weight just lifted. I'm trying to get in to find out why I'm feeling so poorly. That is my next project, lol I go to the rheumy tomorrow, so I will keep you posted. You keep me posted on what happens on Wednesday, that is a big concern. I hope everything goes alright, take care Tawny > Well that was good news that everything came back all right, but what > has been causing your problems? Guest guest
Tawny, I'm so glad that you received such good news. We've all been worrying about you. I'm sure that you are even more relieved than we are, LOL. Guest guest
Tawny - Thank you for the update. We may not be as relieved as you are - but having been there ourselves we can empathize.
