Guest guest
Tawny, I just went through the same sort of thing. I was told the reason they do the mammogram first is it is more sensitive to abnormalities and picks up things ultrasound misses. However, mammo doesn't differeniate between solid and cyst. They use the mammo to guide them where to look on the ultrasound. The ultrasound is supposed to be very accurate in diagnosing a lump to be a cyst or solid mass(which needs to be biopsied). Good luck to you. Elaine in Vegas > > > > > So sorry you have to wait another week Tawny. I am so glad to hear from others that have been in this situation, it helps so much. Thanks, Tawny > > > > So sorry you have to wait another week Tawny.
