Toast Butter Cake Here is something fast for your sweet tooth. This is not really a recipe, but it is easy to do and taste good. Take one or two slices of regular white bread and toast them just a little bit. Spread the slices with butter and dust them with sugar or if you like with a sugar-cinnamon mix. Sprinkle some almond slices on top. Put on a cookie sheet and broil until a nice golden brown. The taste is a little bit like a German Buttercake. ~ " We all take different paths in life, but no matter where we go, we take a little of each other everywhere.
