Guest guest
Hi All - For more information about this topic (since it seems there is alot of interest in it), may I refer you to the " Billings Method " -- here just one url for more info: http://www.billings-centre.ab.ca/bc_200.htm -- and there appears to be lots more available there. Basically, the Billings Method involves the tracking of the color and consistency of the discharge over the course of the month is a *part* of this particular method of birth control -- so that tells you there is valuable information in that for each of us, and that having some discharge is actually a good thing! I've found this helpful to know personally, though I only came across it because I used to teach sex ed at a big 10 university... still, I continue to be surprised that it's not more well known. As for the " old blood " look to some of it, I get that too but usually the first day and a half or two days before the " real " flow starts. Interesting how we all work differently -- I wouldn't trade anything in the world for this opportunity to compare notes like this! Many thanks for all the posts. All best wishes, Jan
