Guest guest
> Hi Cindi. Last night it popped into my head what fm meant - I can be quite a fog brain myself at times. LOL. I know what you mean about being at the stage of accepting. Disability of any kind requires a huge adjustment.I found that the decline in functioning was so gradual that looking back now a I have made a lot of the adjustments as the years have progressed. It will still be a very big thing for me to give up my work. It's one thing to dream about all the stuff you will do when retired and very much another to find that you now face that retirement and are not able to do those things due to disability. Maybe we can gather ideas from the group? I'm intrigued by your comment about being a journaler. Did you write professionally or for your own private use?
