Kath, any NSAID, even ibuprofen, can cause secondary hypertension.

According to what we know so far, hypertension associated with Vioxx

(rofecoxib) seems to be a more common and serious problem than with

Bextra (valdecoxib), but it does happen with Bextra, too.
