Guest guest
Tess, have you tried editing your marketing preferences on the site? To do so, go to and then to " Review My Account Information. " Then, click on " Edit your marketing preferences. " When the page about special offers comes up, just click on " No " for all of them. This might decrease your Spam. Couldn't hurt, anyway. Guest guest
Hey Tess How's going? I found out the hard way that is was my ISP that was causing all my spam. Then they wanted to charge me a fee to get rid of it on their end because it was jamming up their system. I told them no, I would correct it on my end. Those addys are still getting swamped with spam (too bad for my ISP) but I have them automatically sent to the trash. I am even getting spam on my login.... I corrected most of it by using my business address for most of my groups. So far.....so good.....knock on wood. Another thing....when a spammer gets a hold of and .com, .net, whatever, it starts making up names til it hits an addy that goes through, then starts spamming. I know there are people who will take the spam and send it to the ISP it came from so that person gets dumped from the ISP, but geez I don't have time, patience or health to spend 24/7 on the computer email a hundred ISPs a day. Oh and ordering things on line is another way of getting spammed. I found out Sears sells their list and they care who they sell it to. That law that was passed to stop this didn't do squat did it? Hugs in Ct. -----Original Message----- From: blessed_july@... Blech!!! I don't understand as I just receive several group mailings there, but somehow the spammers got me. So, I'm here at this new addy. Anyway, just wanted you all to know. Love & hugs...
