New to List ... Well Sorta :)

Hello I'm sort of new to the list. Have been a member for about the last

3 weeks or so but this is my first posting. I've only been logging on at

work and did not want to reply from that E-mail address. I work in North

Mississippi. I've been a dispatcher for about 3 years now and a TAC for

about 2. We work swing shifts of 8 hours. well try to. I'm pulling a 12

straight this week. worked 8-4 m-f and working 4-12 through next Friday

starting today. We dispatch for the county deputies, 5 city police, 6

VFD's, 1 county wide ambulance service only 5 of the city's have EMR's. We

have one dispatcher on at a time with the jailer that helps when we have to

take a break. We sit in the middle of all the inmates *L* am wondering how

many of you are in the same boat there? we are finally going to get some

stuff on the windows so we don't have to watch them watching us eat and

what ever else we do all the time. we house about 35 inmates at the moment.

I have been enjoying the post since joining the list. Hope to continue
