You can contact the Knowledge Center at ADA to help you get the stats or there

is a member forum where you can ask questions. Graet place to voice your

concerns about ADA.

Stats for dietetics

Hi all,

Well, I can't find anything of value (lol - surprised?) on the ADA or

CDR site to answer my questions. They really need to start focusing on

who THEIR (OUR) ideal client is! The site shouldn't just be for RD's,

but for the public, too.

For my business plan project for school, I'm identifying dietitians,

fitness professionals and nurses (NPs particularly). I have found great

stats for fitness and nursing, but am stuck with dietetics! I'm

wondering if I'm just too close to it...

So, I have been able to find stats relating to growth and size of market

for the other two areas. Does ANYONE have stats on those topics for

dietitians?? There has to be SOME numbers on the growth of the industry

of dietetics.

I'm even going so far as tailgating us to the 'nutrition supplement'

industry, lol. We will look MUCH better.

Thanks!

Margie

Excellent suggestion, Judy. I just called and found everyone extremely

helpful, and they were each able to give me specific links to answer my

questions. I did let them all know that I couldn't find this information

by doing a search, however.

Thanks so much.
