Judi, surgery, etc.

Hi group,

Well, leave it to me to have something screwy happen. You have to

know that I don't do things by half measures. Apparently the

surgical crew DROPPED me! After the orthopedist finished and left,

as they were transferring me from the operating table back to the

bed, someone fumbled, and started to drop me, my head snapped

backwards and my left leg dropped down. One nurse grabbed my right

arm to keep from dropping me, hence the big bruise on my upper arm.

No harm done, they figured, since I hadn't hit the floor. But a

really uncomfortable case of whiplash as diagnosed by my doctor

yesterday afternoon, as well as a pulled tendon in my right hip.

Ron, , and sil Tom are furious, and say there is no way they

will ever permit me to set foot in that hospital again. What makes

me mad is that no one said anything until Ron made some phone calls.

I was an emotional and physical wreck yesterday but both have

improved today. I can even move my head without crying, and walk up

stairs but still need help pulling my pants up & down (hee hee.)

Will someone PLEASE come and get this black cloud that keeps

following me? I mean, whoever heard of going in for half hour

surgery on your hand and getting whiplash? Puhleeze!
