Guest guest
Hi all, had an appointment last Monday. We discussed with Dr. Sokol that his fatigue is worsening as well as the itching. (one morning he woke up with what looked like cat scratches up and down his belly-and he didn't know where they came from-we don't even have a cat) Dr. Sokol said he would " write a letter of appeal " and present it to the transplant board to move his status up to 2B! Now, this is getting scary! Last summer we were told " in the next five years " then when he was officially put on the list we were told a minimum of a one year wait and now..........who knows! It's confusing to us (my husband and I) why this seems to be moving so quickly. Our prayers from the beginning were that would never get extremely sick like I heard about from so many others who've had PSC. I know this is a step in the right direction, it's just scary. was very excited to hear the news - he just wants to get it over with so he can stop thinking/worrying about it. Dr. Sokol told us that we would know in a couple of weeks whether or not his request was approved. I'll keep you posted.
