Transitioning baby to milk

As a trial have her try lactose-free milk...that way she can at least rule

out lactose as the culprit. Hwo much did the child have when she vomited

it? It may be dose related.

NO rice milk - too low in protein

likely it is the amount of milk. Some allergic kids ( ok sensitive )

kids can tolerate small amounts of milk, but when the volume is

uptitrated, then the problems start. My oldest could be the child

below. On the advice of a pediatric RD I gave him a milk challenge -

more vomitting. My baby sitter didn't believe that milk was the issue,

my son drank a bottle there and vomitted so much that he had a seizure

and could no longer walk! The sz was secondary to electrolyte loss.

Try soy!

Have her try mixing 3/4 soy, 1/4 whole milk and transition gradually to all

whole milk.

Thank you so much to all who helped with this. I'll share your

suggestions with my friend when I see her tomorrow and I'm sure she'll

find them helpful.
