Guest guest
You guys will have a good laugh over my body image today. I have a daycare and it's a long story but I had to do an interview for the local newspaper about city ordinances and home occupation permits. Well, I didn't have to but the reporter called me at the suggestion of a city official that couldn't say what needed to be said officially so I owed him a favor so I did the interview. Since I am very careful about children's names and pictures in the paper, I told them no names. Well, they said they wanted a closeup of me in the picture with the children slightly unfocused in the background. That way it would protect their privacy yet allow them to see themselves in the paper and get the story about daycare also. Yep, swollen bloated face and body and all, closeup in the newspaper. And, to top it off, I'm blind in my right eye so I'm sure my eye was probably wandering a little too! I hope they don't use the pictures but I have a feeling they will. Guess I'll find out later this week. Talk about an in your face kind of reality. Most likely it will be on the front page. On the bright side, my hair was fairly decent for a change and I had makeup on!
