anyone here do any quilting? I made a patchwork quilt for my

daughter today(twin size) what a lot of work. I have all the tools

to make the job easier but with the ra its still a lot of work. It

looks great but now my fingers hurt and my back and my knees,

ughhhhhh. I have been doing so well with my vitamins and change of

diet that the ra hasn't been bothering me, except I still can't open

things or reach for stuff, but I got used to that. At least I was

still able to garden and things. But today I am in pain now. I was

fine while doing the job but once it was done then I realized I

hurt. Gonna take a couple naproxen and go to bed, then spending the

day at the beach tomorrow...lol..the sun always makes me feel better.

Thanks for listening!

Pin basting a quit together is what made my wrist swell up so bad, that I

actually went in for the first time. That was last year, and I still sew, but I

just have to learn to do things diffferently.

I ripped a pocket on my scrub jacket and tried to " by hand " sew it back on.

It just about killed my hands! I want to learn quilting as many in my family

do it, but at this point, I don't think I can do it due to the pain. Cary

I love quilting. I just got a new machine last night for my birthday. I have been making quilts for my kids and nieces and nephews as they graduate from high school. i did a few baby quilts too. It is very relaxing and healing.

Seems alot of us are quilters! I find it is therapeutic - I get lost in my quilts. In the summer it's gardening, rest of the year it is quilting! Sandie
