Guest guest
It's funny that you mentioned the caffeine, at work they always tease me because I am downing mt. dew all the time. I also take Vivarin (caffeine pills) my doctor approved me taking these. Every once in awhile they give me a little bit of stomache upset, but usually no side effects at all. If I don't take these, I have a really hard time even making it through the day. I only take them when I am working, and avoid taking them on my days off. I've been taking them for about 4 months now, and haven't had any problems. I think each tabelet is equal to 2 cups of coffee. Guest guest
You've had quite an ordeal. Another member on the list had chemical meningitis (I think that's what it was). That is very scary stuff. I can't imagine docs being so lackadaisical about spinal fluid leaking out, and for them to put you on a bus is just outrageous to me! I hope things heal and you get better quickly!! --- Faith wrote: > To add to my last post: I just want to say that my > left leg used to > go out on me. Guest guest
Hi Faith I had exactly the same thing post op, two years ago. CSF leak which became an infected abscess, contaminated the fluid and ended up with infective meningitis. I was in a high dependency unit in a critical state for two weeks, then when the infection subsided I had to have further spinal surgery to repair the damage. It was a dreadful time and was caused, I am sure, by negligence at the post operative stage. Sending best wishes for a good recovery, Monika -- Monika Sabor South Wales UK

Guest guest
Hi Monika, Lucky for me I didn't have to have more surgery. It was bad enough they had to give me a spinal tap. I'm so sorry you had to go through that and I hope your recovery has gone well.
