Hello to you,

I lived in London for a very short time when I was working at Abbott

Labs (located in Maidstone.) I loved it there, and would often go

walking late at night just to hear the sounds of the city at night

(yes, we crazy Americans!) I stayed up until midnight one night so I

could hear Big Ben strike clearly the most times without the

interference of the city noise.

I remember hearing about " moggies " the first time and wondered what

was coming my way--I was staying with another Abbott employee at his

house, and his daughter was talking about the moggies in the barn.

Carole, I have trigeminal neuralgia, which can be quite painful at

times, especially when it is very cold outside, if I eat or drink

something cold, if I eat something very crunchy or chewy, or rough

fabric touches my face on that side. The neurologist thinks mine is

caused by one of my many Dercum's tumors pressing on the trigeminal

nerve. The pain is just under my left eye and runs across my cheek

up to my eyebrow and down to my jaw.

To both you ladies, I would trade the wonderful ENGLISH language, as

it is spoken in England and Australia/New Zealand for the way it is

butchered in the southern part of this country any day! I grew up in

southern California, now live in southern Indiana, and have about had

my fill of hearing people say " knowed " and " growed " instead of knew

and grew!

Smile!

Judi
