as many of you know i attended the earth wind & fire and the band chicago

concert this weekend. it was great. we parked right up front. out seats were

about 30 rows back. we signed up at wjmk 104.3 station, they took our picture

and

it is supposed to be on the web page later this week. we bought t-shirts to

help save demon dogs. it is the hot dog place they hung out as high school

students. it allowed us to go to the hospitality tent where the bands eventually

showed up. i met bill champlin, i told him i liked the show and thought he had

more fun than we do at work. he says he figures he play for free. they pay him

to get on the bus, photographs, band meetings and band fights. i met robert

lamm. (he is so handsome!!! and tall!!!) we just said hi and he was pulled away

for pictures. i met walt parazaider. told him i always looked up to him as a

flute player. (another one so tall!! i felt really short!!) then finally i met

jimmy pankow. i gave him a hug, told him i loved him!!!! we made an isle

between miry and me so when they left we'd get a chance to see, touch whatever

and

one of the earth wind and fire guys came up and said he liked my button. it

was a chicago button that lit up. then he kissed me!!! we watched all the

excitement for awhile. then we decided to leave so i went back to jimmy pankow

(with

a push from miry!!) and said we were going to go and i needed to give him

another hug. so we are hugging and miry tells him i am his biggest fan and talk

about him every day. it was such a perfect night. we got home about 2 am and it

was probably a night i will never forget. my voice is gone, my feet hurt and

my hip is out of place. but definatly worth all. kathy in il
